Meet Captain Mike
Mike is a 25 ton Master Captain, and life long waterman who has grown up surfing, fishing and boating the Maine coast. As a twelfth generation Mainer he is well versed in the environment and history of the Wells area coastline. Mike will ensure each trip is unique and personalized to the passengers on board.
First Mate Sunny
Sunny is a Maine lobsterman and avid outdoorsman as well as a three sport athlete. Sunny is a junior at Seacoast Christian School and looking forward to his post graduation days when he can be on the water full time. His job aboard the Lydia J. is to make sure everyone on deck is comfortable and enjoying their trip.
Mate Breckyn
Breckyn is also a mate with us at Tradewinds. She is a 2023 graduate of Seacoast Christian School where she was also a three sport athlete, participating in soccer, basketball, and track. Breckyn will be attending Southern Maine Community College and studying to be a radiologic technologist. As a mate she will be there to make everyone on board comfortable and point out wildlife on our trips.
